Dr. Matthew Birdwhistell and Dr. R. Craig Martin Join Lexington Clinic Primary Care Georgetown

LEXINGTON, KY. – 9/1/2023 – Lexington Clinic Primary Care Georgetown is pleased to announce that Dr. Matthew Birdwhistell and Dr. R. Craig Martin have joined the Clinic, and with this, we are excited to expand personalized care in the Scott County community.

Dr. Matthew Birdwhistell, DO, is a graduate of the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and provides general internal medicine services to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment and counsel for prevention and overall wellness, along with yearly physicals and screenings.

Dr. R. Craig Martin, MD, is a graduate of the West Virginia University, School of Medicine and completed his residency at West Virginia University as well.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and provides services in general medicine for adults as well as preventive medicine. His professional interests include chronic disease management, geriatrics and preventive medicine.

These two physicians, along with Dr. Marisol Clark, MD, and Dr. Leslye Jones, DO, will be able to combine their understanding of patients’ needs so that our patients receive best in class care, close to home.
