Dr. Cecil is board-certified in Otolaryngology. He provides services in adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat disorders. Dr. Cecil's professional interests include hearing loss, ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery (including balloon sinuplasty), nasal surgery, tonsil and adenoid surgery, thyroid surgery, parotid surgery, skin cancers of the head and neck and medical treatment of allergic rhinitis.


In 2025, Dr. Cecil received a Focused Practice Designation (FPD) from the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.


Dr. Cecil's FPD is in Adult Complex Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery. This recognition is for surgeons who demonstrate specialized expertise and a significant focus on treating complex thyroid and parathyroid diseases. This FPD has rigorous standards and recognizes a surgeon's dedication to complex endocrine neck surgery, beyond a standard specialty certification.


There are currently only 210 surgeons across the United States who have earned this designation.
