Dr. Justin Hayes is a board-certified sports medicine physician specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of sports-related and general musculoskeletal conditions. He provides expert care for injuries and disorders affecting the muscles, bones, joints, tendons, and ligaments, whether caused by athletic activity, work, or daily life.


Dr. Hayes has significant experience covering athletic teams from the high school to professional level, offering specialized care for athletes and active individuals. He also performs ultrasound-guided procedures to relieve pain caused by a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, with a particular focus on providing effective care for arthritis. These minimally invasive treatments help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.


Having lived in the greater Lexington area since 2010, Dr. Hayes is deeply committed to serving the community he calls home. As a lifelong avid fan of University of Kentucky athletics, he is especially proud to care for the active and athletic community in the region.


Dr. Hayes is board-certified in family medicine and holds an additional board certification in Sports Medicine.
