Dr. Ayorinde “Ayo” Medaiyese is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Medaiyese has expertise in treating asthma, COPD, occupational lung diseases such as black lung (Department of Labor certification), lung nodules, sleep apnea and pulmonary hypertension among other pulmonary issues. He performs advanced bronchoscopy both diagnostic and therapeutic including EBUS for the diagnosis of lung mass and cancer, thoracentesis and chest tube placements in addition to providing services in complete pulmonary function evaluation (PFT) including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusing capacity, arterial blood gases and pulse oximetry. Dr. Medaiyese has over 20 years of experience in the field of medicine, with special focus on pulmonary disease.
